Pop quiz coming up

Might need to keep an eye on a fella named Oded Tira. Ordinarily, this wouldn't get more than a split second of my attention, but there's a coupla things about him that should be worth mention.

Primarily, he wants the United States to attack Iran. Let's look at some quotes:

"As an American strike in Iran is essential for our existence, we must help him (Bush) pave the way by lobbying the Democratic Party ... and US newspaper editors".

"We must turn to Hillary Clinton and other potential presidential candidates in the Democratic Party so they publicly support immediate action by Bush against Iran."

We have a consideration to make at this point. Oded Tira is a Brigadier General in the Israeli Defense Force.

Here we are, trying our damndest to extract ourselves from a poorly planned war in Iraq. Our troops definitely could use a rest before the battle in Afganistan heats up again. But no. This knucklehead wants us to fight his war.
