Quantumfog figgers there would be more peace in the world if every home has its own energy source. Wind turbines seem to lack that aesthetic je ne sais quoi for building a new market. Shawn Frayne is one of your classical design geniuses. He has a different idea.
As a kid, he watches the film of the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapse that occurred back in 1940. Becomes obsessed with the dynamic of the wind and twisting motion of the bridge. His inventive result is a micro-generator based on the same phenomena.
Simplicity itself. Stretch a fabric between two points and add a few magnets to convert the movement to electricity. Shawn calls it a WindBelt.
