Kids tend to imbibe a little too much soda unless a parent is right there to rap a couple of knuckles. Controlling their sugar intake is getting better with gadgets like the Penguin. In fact, make all the soda you want using no sugar at all; 25 flavors are available or you can invent your own. And, at .25 cents per liter, could theoretically become cost effective over time. Starter kits begin at $99; the Penguin starting kit can be had for $279.
