Thanks to the Big Guy for people and things beyond measure

I'd like to give a shout out to my brother, Stan. My Dad. And my in-laws, Ruth, Denton, Evelyn, Chester, Bill, Jeannie and Richard. I want to thank ya'll for being here, and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

And a happy Thanksgiving to the readers of QuantumFog, also. Give everybody a hug for me.

Smells better than he looks

Pictured here is Sam, having lived this incarnation as an anal wart from Satan's sphincter. Winner of the World's Ugliest Dog several times over, he has gone on to his eternal reward, leaving the world a prettier place. His owner says he was one of the most lovable dogs ever; and in fact, chose Sam to stay with her while she was in radioactive isolation for cancer. God bless both of them.

And, Sam, if you make it around again, buddy - try to look a little more like Paul Newman.
