Oklahoma shortens check-out line at Walmart
!Ay caramba. Illegals who enjoy that free American taco platter now plan to leave the state. The reason is Oklahoma House Bill 1804.
Hispanics are shouting racism, housing contractors call it xenophobic. Most people say "its about time". Let's take a look at the bill signed into law by Governor Henry, available here as a download.
‣ It is now a felony to transport or conceal illegal aliens. ‣ Identification documents will be issued for only US citizens, legal permanent resident aliens and holders of valid unexpired nonimmigrant visas. ‣ ID exceptions are made for visa status, pending asylum, refugees and pending applications. ‣ Confined felons will be checked for citizenship status; illegals will not be bonded out. ‣ Every government employee will be verified as a citizen. ‣ Every contractor working for the State will prove that all their employees are legal citizens. ‣ Any citizen who loses their job to an illegal alien has legal recourse. ‣ Taxpayer benefits are provided only for citizens and those with a lawful presence in the US; exceptions are made for emergencies, short-term shelter and aid for exceptional circumstances. ‣ All private sector employers are required to withhold 6% for any employee who does not have a valid social security number.
Nothing is mentioned about renting a domicile or reporting aliens. My sense of it is illegals could work and live in Oklahoma as long as they pay taxes to support the infrastructure. The way the transporation clause reads, contractors can't pick up a truck load of Hispanics any more down at the " unemployment corner".
A note to the malcontents who enjoy the benefit of norteamericano culture: If we gave you the southwest quarter of the US, you'd still want to move north into our area. Take a good look at what you're really after. Become a constructive citizen, don't turn the US into the place you left behind.

I also agree 100% with your note at the end.
