Pass the fava beans
British researchers at Newcastle University are now making liver. Neat thing about it is, their 1 inch size proof-of-concept result is created outa stem cells taken from umbilical cords.
Partial liver transplants are considered possible in about 5 years. Meanwhile, the lab-grown tissue can be used to test drugs.
The one industry they've not mentioned is the Hannibal Lecter market, offering the liver paté.
