Now, I don't care who you are, this has got to be interesting. First, keep your fingers away from the "off" switch; I don't want your eyes to glaze over when I give you this word: nano-technology.
Still with me? Good. Simply put, nano-technology is the creation of machines smaller than the diameter of a hair. Way smaller. Cool, huh? You betcha.
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory has taken this a step further and combined nano-technology with DNA. They have demonstrated a method for binding nanoparticles to the DNA structure to create a scaffold for assembling quantum circuits.
'scuse me a second, I need to read that again.

So, where is this going? I dunno. Maybe we can be the computer and tie directly into the internet. There ya go, sci-fi writers: no need for cell phones or pc's.
